Billy has been working with young children for over thirty years as a preschool teacher and director. He holds a masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Mills College. Billy is also an instructor in the Early Childhood Education department at Chabot College.

Billy has a long history with music since his own childhood when he learned to write song lyrics from his poet father. He has provided music education for child ages two through five at numerous child care centers in the Bay Area. Billy is also a music and magic performer for children’s parties as well as a jazz, swing, and rhythm drummer in local bands.

Billy will bring much laughter, music and excitement about learning to the lucky children enrolled in the Developmental Kindergarten classroom at Old Firehouse School.
