Admissions and Programs at OFS Mill Valley
For fall 2016, we still have spaces for children born in 2012, especially in the second half of the year (summer through December 2012).
Applications are given to families who attend a tour. Tours are offered throughout the late fall and winter. Spaces are normally offered in March, or on a rolling basis should a space open up mid-year. The application fee is $45.
Children may attend 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.
Priority is given to families needing full-day care.

The Yellow Room
Autonomy and verbal skills are the core values of our two year old program. Two-year-olds are excited and curious about their world, and we help foster that need to explore in this classroom while giving them secure relationships. There are 12 children and two teachers in the classroom with a ratio of 1:6/7.
The Red Room
Preschool children (ages 3-5) deepen and broaden their physical, emotional, and cognitive skills. At Old Firehouse School we believe that initiative, language, and thinking skills predict much about each child’s future academic and social development. We have a maximum ratio of 1:9 in the Red Room.
The Green Room
Kindergarten-bound children (ages 4-5) continue to grow and thrive in this classroom, where we focus on the kinds of emotional, physical, and academic skills that best serve children during the year before they move into elementary school. We have a maximum ratio of 1:9 in the Green Room.
